Wall To Floor Tile Luxury

Wood effect porcelain tiles look just like natural timber; however the tiles are incredibly hard-wearing and won’t rot or warp when they get wet. Using advanced inkjet technology, it enables the porcelain to have a natural wood grain effect that includes the texture and knots of the wood. The wood effect tiles are very textured to touch and from a distance it is hard to see the difference from natural timber to porcelain.

Our range of wood effect tiles allow you to create a herringbone and chevron effect, basket weave or install in a planked wood bond to achieve the desired look. Wall To Floor Tile Luxury

In Exeter we have an extensive range of large format porcelain tiles, thanks to the tile development of laminate pressing technology, porcelain tiles in a size of up to 1200 x 3600mm have a slimmer thickness of even 3.5mm can be produced. Although the large tile is much larger than a normal sized tile it still maintains its mechanical properties and visual appeal synonymous with porcelain tiles.

This has allowed new applications to be used for building and interior design, bathroom wall and floor tiles and large floor areas for any room. Using a larger porcelain tile means less grout lines and quite often makes an area appear bigger. The larger format tiles can also be used for external cladding of buildings making them mechanically suitable and aesthetically pleasing. Our range of our largest format tiles are Spanish and we also have a lot of large tiles that are Italian.

Natural StoneTiles is a product of nature, therefore variations in colour, pattern, texture and veining are all natural. These differences and variations in stone should be considered as the beauty of natural stone instead of flaws. Natural stone is a non-man-made product, all-natural material is straight from Mother Earth! There’s a variety of different natural stones, such as slate, granite, marble, limestone, travertine and sandstone.

Natural stone materials are porous and require a sealant to help fill the pores and make the material resistant to water and stains, this will need to be reapplied periodically. Natural stone is also suitable for outdoor use. In our Exeter showroom our Natural stone comes from all around the world and includes places like Egypt, Spain, Brazil, China, France, Germany and India.

In Exeter we have a vast range of outdoor porcelain tiles which are available in various sizes and finishes. Choosing an outside tile depends on what substrate they are being laid upon, if using a concrete base then a 10mm porcelain outside tile can be used, if an alternative substrate is being used, such as sand and cement then a 20mm thick outdoor tile is best suited. Outdoor 20mm tiles can also be installed on pedestals (also known as stilts in the building trade), this 20mm tile collection is great for drainage and to be used on balconies or any areas that are prone to flooding.

Outdoor tiling is very popular and much easier to maintain in comparison to decking. If you have an area where your living space or kitchen open onto your outdoor tiled area it is also possible to achieve a seamless, inside/outside look in using the same tile throughout both as a lot of our tiles come in both a 10mm and a 20mm. We also have a range of Natural Stone Tiles which can be used for outdoor use if you would like a more classic look.

Our outdoor tiles are also available in edging details such as swimming pool copings, skirting and step treads. Outdoor porcelain tiles are non-porous, fade-resistant and very durable.
