  • SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) has a much stronger, more rigid core than traditional vinyl flooring as it only contains 30% PVC with the other 70% made up of minerals.

  • Thanks to its mineral composition, SPC is a material that, unlike traditional vinyl floors, can be installed near windows without risk of expansion caused by temperature changes.

  • As it is rigid material, it is forgiving of any unevenness in the subfloor. Other softer vinyl materials can become warped during installation by any cracks, stones or joints that may be in the subfloor. The click system enables rapid installation without the need for any special tools or adhesives.
  • The sound insulation layer considerably reduces the noise of people walking on the floor, by up to 18 dB. In addition, the surface is pleasant to the touch and allows for the installation of underfloor heating, providing more warmth.
  • More impact resistant than other materials thanks to the impact-absorbing lower layer.
  • KERLUX is installed without joints, meaning cleaning is easier and there is no build-up of dirt in joints. Furthermore, as a non-porous material liquids do not leach into the surface and create stains.
  • Due to being waterproof material it will not absorb water. Furthermore, the click system is watertight, preventing water from leaking through to the subfloor.
  • KERLUX has a UV protection layer that prevents changes in colour over time when installed near windows or glass doors.
  • The material is 100% recyclable as it can be reintroduced into the production process.
